Gojukan Budo is a method of
approach, practice and in-depth study of Japanese Martial Arts,
based on the concept of interdisciplinarity.
The basic principle of the method
is that to come to the very understanding of an art, mastering the
laws by which it is ruled, it is indispensable to observe it from
several points of view: whatever the subject , only a tridimensional
view will allow its complete knowledge.
This kind of approach, apparently
very innovative, was the normal path through which since not too
long ago (since the outburst of World War II, exactly) the great
Masters of the past gave birth to the most important Martial Arts
Schools: the personal research and the personalization
of the training forms so to let training become an integral part of
daily life.
The name of the method ,
Go-Ju-Kan (STRENGTH-FLUIDITY-INTUITION),
indicate the importance of these three components: the
three dimensions of fighting arts.
